Rating: - * Viewsonic LCD have short life < 3 years ... I purchased a 20inch N2010 LCD TV three years ago(2005); my wife had it on for abt 2-3 hrs each day. About 3 weeks ago, it stopped working. When she powers it on, the screen cycles thru what appears to be a diagnostic(primary colour screens - about 5). I wrote to the CEO James Chu the day after it stopped working; I have got no response yet(3 weeks now) . . I find this customer callousness apalling.I will not buy anymore Viewsonic products. I am a physicist/trader and have approx 16 displays which run 10 hrs/day weekdays - mostly Samsung now. I am happy with Samsung LCD reliability. CEO's of technology product companies need to study the case of Dell - and what the consequences of ignoring customer feedback can be(Google Jeff Jarvis, 'Dell Hell'). Rating: - * I'm looking at two of these monitors right now ... I likeed this monitor so much I purchased a second. Now I'm considering a third. These monitors have good picture quality and reliable. If I had the choice between using these two monitors on a older laptop or purchasing a top-of-the-line laptop with only one monitor I would take these two monitors with my existing computer older laptop, no contest. Rating: - * A great monitor. ... Have had this for several months now. It's working out great and we really love it. When I first got it though, I saw one dead pixel right in the middle of the monitor. However, it somehow disappeared from the screen after several days of use and hasn't come back ever since. Not sure how it got self-healed but I'm glad it's gone. Whether it's displaying faster moving game actions (Crysis, COD4, World in Conflict, etc) or watching movies or sports, this monitor has handled all without any problems. I highly recommend. Rating: - * ViewSonic VG2230WM 22\" Black Widescreen LCD Monitor ... I bought this monitor to replace an old 19 inch monitor and I am very pleased with the picture quality and the design itself. The only problem is the sound quality which seems a bit muted, but that could be because I've always had nicer speakers on everything I own. Rating: - * viewsonic monitor ... this monitor works perfectly and much better than the monitor that came with the computer. |

The real joy of the set, however, is nine NBA playoff games presented as they were originally broadcast and almost in their entirety. They last about 90-100 minutes with TV introductions and post-game interviews, but minus halftime, commercials, and some slower moments. The games include such absolute classics as the game in which rookie Magic Johnson started at center in place of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and the 1987 "baby hook" game against the Boston Celtics. If you're used to watching current NBA games you might be tempted to just skip to the end, but it's surprisingly rewarding to watch the game develop, to watch the game's superstars strut their stuff (or see a couple of 1972 reserves named Phil Jackson and Pat Riley), and to observe how radically the sport has changed over the years. Variable picture quality and technical glitches are unavoidable (even the 2002 game looks washed out), but this is the first time complete or nearly complete NBA games have been available in the home-video era, and they probably still look better than the VHS tapes you've been saving over the years. Yes, it'd be easy to argue about which games from the Lakers' long history should have been included, and the highlight videos don't have a ton of replay value, but the NBA Dynasty series is a major milestone in archived sports. --David Horiuchi
