Amazon.com :
An accessory handset for Uniden's TRU9 series, TRU8 series, CLX series, Elite series, and the UIP18 series phone systems, the TCX905 offers the same excellent range of functions you appreciate in the base. Once the handset is recognized by the system, you can review features like Call Waiting Caller ID, which includes a 100-station memory (with subscription to local service) that allows names and numbers to be transferred between handsets or moved into the permanent 10-station speed dial. DirectLink two-way radio communication is built into each handset, allowing them to function as an in-home intercom system or baby monitor.

You can transfer incoming calls between each handset and speakerphone on the base, and make use of the convenient hands-free design by using the included belt clip and built-in headset jack (headsets available separately). Easily adjust handset and ringer volume levels to your comfort, and set the handset LCD menu to one of three menu languages (English, French, or Spanish). A page button lets you quickly locate the handset if it's strayed under the couch cushions. Redial any of the last three called numbers at the touch of a button, activate three-way calls or just enjoy the consistent clarity of the 5.8 GHz digital signal transmission.

This handset requires the use of a compatible Uniden T9, ELT or VIP series phone. Most systems in the series are expandable up to a total of four handsets. Uniden provides a one-year warranty covering parts and service.

Compatible with the following Uniden 5.8 GHz Digital Expandable Systems: the TRU9 series (TRU9460,TRU9465, TRU9466, TRU9480, TRU9485, TRU9488, TRU9496), the TRU8 series (TRU8860, TRU8865, TRU8866,TRU8880, TRU8885, TRU8888), the CLX series (CLX465,CLX485), the Elite series (ELT560, ELBT585, ELBT595), and the UIP18 series (UIP1868P and UIP1869V).

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Great phone - easy to use and good volume. ...
I bought this phone to link with two waterproof Unidens. It has worked great and the reception has been clear with good volume. I had a little trouble figuring out how to link the phone to the waterproof base unit since that one is new and the directions weren't clear. I eventually got it though and it works fine now. I really like the intercom.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Uniden TCX905 ...
I have used the TCX905's for a little over a month now. I am very pleased with the functions that they have to offer. The one change I would like to see is the ability to transfer the phone book to all additional units at one time rather than having to specify which handset you want to transfer the phonebook to, although transferring the phonebook to each individual handset is still easier than having to enter each number into each handset individually. I especially like the room monitor feature and the ability to name the additional handsets. Two other features that are great are the global set-up and the ability to check voice mail from any individual handset. I think the TCX905's are great products for the money!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Pleased with handsets and Uniden systems ...
This is the 3rd TCX905 handset I have purchased from Amazon. In total I and 2 other family members who have Uniden phone systems have 7 of these handsets in use (other handsets were bundled with the base system).

I have had no issues with these handsets and the Uniden bases units they are registered to. Battery life is excellent. I often use the handsets as speakerphones to do conference calls that last many hours in a day and they easily last a full workday with heavy usage and limited recharge.

The built-in speakerphone works very well making it possible for me to take conference calls anywhere in the house by just placing the handset in speakerphone mode.

As I have noted I have deployed the Uniden technology in my own home and 2 close family memmbers. In all cases they have been very reliable.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * OUTSTANDING, ONCE AGAIN! ...
Uniden TCX905 Accessory Handset and Charger with Call Waiting and Caller IDI purchased 3 of these phones about 2 months ago with a WXI477 base and I absolutely love these phones! They work great, are easy to program, have clear reception anywhere on our 1 acre property and are comfortable to talk on! We have had numerous phones that look great, but don't perform when you get them home. These phones have again exceeded my expectations.....

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - * cordless phone ...
Kind of fair. The menuing is kind of wierd. HOwever, it works with our water proof phone.

Glamour girls Hilary and Haylie Duff (featured in Lizzie McGuire and 7th Heaven, respectively) star as cosmetic heiresses Ava and Tanzie Marchetta, whose lives get turned upside down when their deceased father's company is accused of selling toxic products. Wouldn't you know it, Ava and Tanzie decide to go all Erin Brockovich and investigate. Material Girls should be awful--but it isn't. It's not a great film, it may not even be a good film, but it's more watchable than it has any right to be, thanks to the confident and thoughtful guiding hand of director Martha Coolidge (Rambling Rose, Valley Girl). It's hard to say exactly how a director can keep something like Material Girls from being as insipid as, say, New York Minute. Coolidge injects some hint of awareness of what it actually means to be poor, casts some surprising actors (like Anjelica Huston, Prizzi's Honor; Brent Spiner, Star Trek: The Next Generation; and Lukas Haas, Brick), and somehow makes the Marchetta sisters both vapid and sympathetic--all of which is some impressive cinematic alchemy. The result is the most enjoyable film of Hilary Duff's career. --Bret Fetzer

If you are one of Hilary Duff's most ardent pre-teen fans, chances are you'll find something to enjoy in A Cinderella Story, but everyone else should proceed with caution. It's an updated fairy tale for the age of instant messaging, which is how Sam (Duff) develops a crush on Austin (Chad Michael Murray) before realizing that this Tennyson-quoting poet-at-heart is actually her San Fernando Valley high school's star quarterback and most desirable hunk. In a role that squanders her proven comedic gifts, Jennifer Coolidge is Sam's Botox-injected evil stepmother, and lame attempts at comedy turn her dimwitted stepsisters into buffoons, like many of the other cast members who struggle to find anything funny in the screenplay. So we're left with the bland, blonde charms of Hilary Duff, who fared better in The Lizzie McGuire Movie, but manages to salvage her mainstream appeal in a comedy for which "cute" is not necessarily a compliment. --Jeff Shannon

If you're going to pitch a movie about cyber-revolutionaries to plugged-in audiences, you'd best mind your MP3s and BPMs when choosing soundtrack selections. The cynical wireheads who flock to such high-tech conspiracy flicks as Brazil and Hackers are thrillseekers of the highest caliber, and The Matrix soundtrack meets this challenge faster than a speeding cyborg. The opener, Marilyn Manson's anti-consumerism rant "Rock Is Dead," paints an aural portrait of urban decay. Ominous sirens permeate the Propellerheads' drum 'n' bass track "Spybreak!"; mournful piano alternates with hard shiny beats on Rob D's "Clubbed to Death"; and Meat Beat Manifesto fills "Prime Audio Soup" with enough bleeps to make one imagine being trapped inside a motherboard in Hell. It may sound dismal, but the friction permeating this compilation of techno, grindcore, and heavy metal is energizing enough to make fans of these genres feel the same unity as a clandestine community of hackers. --Kristy Ojala
