Clear, Interference-Free Calling Every call you make or take should be crystal clear. That's why the DCX200 uses DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology, which operates on the 1.9 GHz range, ensuring excellent voice clarity and interference-free transmissions. Additionally, you can use the handset as a speakerphone, a great option for long-distance calls to family members or for small office teleconferences. Finally, you can effortlessly transfer calls between handsets for better call management.
Time-Saving Memory and Phonebook Features Designed to give you easy access to the numbers you call most often, and to help you keep track of those numbers calling you, the DCX200 offers features that save you time and stress. First, the system stores up to 30 names and numbers in the caller ID memory, so you won't have to hunt for lost numbers ever again. And to help keep you organized, this system also offers a phonebook feature that stores up to 70 names, performs an alphabetical search and gives you the option of assigning unique ringers to different calling parties.
You can also quickly and easily transfer a single listing or the entire phonebook. For added convenience, the handset displays the name and number of the caller in call waiting even while you are on the phone with someone else. (Note: to activate the Caller ID feature, you must first subscribe through your phone company.)
Easy Personalization The DCX200 is easy to personalize--just create your own banner to name each handset, and then copy the phonebook from the handsets so you always have the information you need when you need it. The clock display helps keep you on time and on track, while the bilingual English/Spanish menus offer information on how to set-up and access helpful features.

Rating: - * The best I have used ...
I have struggled with several brands of wireless phones. All had significant problems with noise and/or poor quality reception.
These new Uniden DECT 6.0 phones work great. No noise, consistant great audio quality and no loss of quality or volumn when more then one handset is used at a time.
Rating: - * good phone sytem ...
This is my fouth Uniden system. The problem I had with adding the accessory handsets was in charging first of all. Sometimes you have to take the battery out and reinsert it to get the handset to charge fully. I returned 3 handsets until they worked properly. The manual says to fully charge and then register it to the base. I disagree with this because even after 20 hours of charging, the indicator does not show "full". I was unable to copy the phonebook to #3, but I could to #4. I returned #3 but did not deregister, so the next handset became #5 instead of #3. I was able to copy the phonebook to #5, so I don't want to mess with the setup. This is the inconsistency, and don't bother calling Uniden Support. They are worthless. Their defense is that the software is "a little different" for each phone. How can that be?
