While I've only had this drive for about a month, so far it has worked very well. Rating: - * i love this product ... Works just fine. Easy to use. Came on time and it fits in a small safe. Rating: - * I am a bit disappointed ... I had this drive for a about 3 months now and I sad to say its not working anymore...from the time I got it off amazon there was a problem with cable and I had to twist and bend it to make it work.....I guess that cable is not working now...the downside is that the drive doesnt work with all usb cables..I am now searching for a usb cable to see if the drive was really the problem or the cable...just before it finally stopped working I had to format it cuz it was not working...whats even worst is that all my data was on that dive so I lost over 200gbs of music and movies and pics Rating: - * Easy to use ... I originally bought this to replace my laptop hard drive. It was very easy to open up and get the hard drive out. I was then able to put my old laptop hard drive (80 GB) in the case and use that as an external hard drive. The only problem is the usb cord is only a foot in length, but I'm using it for the portableness. I was able to transfer a 5GB file in about 1 1/2 minutes when using both new and old hard drives. Other Information The drive is MK2552GSX which is Sata 300, 5400 RPM, and 8MB cache.
