Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Impressive ...
What can be said that hasn't already? This little number takes impressive photos right out of the box, with little learning curve. Outdoor photos tend to be the best--indoor photos can tend to be too dim, especially if flash isn't used. There is also a slight lag when taking photos indoors if the ISO max 400 feature is used. The zoom is very impressive--took pictures of a hot air balloon miles away and I could see the people in the basket. Battery life is averge--around 300 pics. Buy along with a large-capacity SDHC card and you're set! No regrets with this purchase for sure! Buy now, and enjoy this camera.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * Great little zoom camera ...
I purchased this camera for my wife to use on a trip to Africa because of its zoom capability. Detail and color on pics was right on (set to bright mode). Once you learn to use all of the features (of which there are many) it is a gem! Only down side was the lack of a viewfinder. When in bright light it was hard to see image on the screen and at max zoom, hard to compose picture and hold the camera steady.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - * Best features, worst picture quality! ...
Best features:
Wide angle, 10x+ zoom, HD video recording, best screen resolution.

Worst picture quality:
In comparison to my old Canon and Casio, the picture quality is the worst especially under low light. Video quality is poor also. It is only OK under bright daylight.

I bought this because of the nice features but unaware the picture quality is so poor. Beware!
BTW, I have the latest firmware installed.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Great option for the price and 10x ZOOM! ...
My cousin recommended this camera to me. It's great! for the price and options and easy to use. I am impressed with 10x zoom, dial options can be preset to specific scene, large LCD - 3", battery life is good and it is still fitting your pocket.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * The best camera I've owned. ...
I love this camera. The pics are clear and sharp. The video looks fantastic. The menus are intuitive and easy to navigate. I've had a Canon and a Fuji that were both inferior to this. This is also the only compact digital camera I've ever owned that never takes pics with red eyes. There are a lot of blue eyes in my family so this is pretty important to me.

The only downside is the crap capture software that Panasonic includes with it. Ironically, that is by far the worst capture software I've ever seen. Try to get your hands on a copy of Canon's ZoomBrowser instead.

Jazz is characterized by democratic group improvisation, so it's natural that artists like the Brooklyn-born pianist//keyboardist/composer Kenny Werner offer insightful and inventive critiques on American democratic society. On his Blue Note debut, Werner's impressive "cabinet" includes trumpeter/cornetist Dave Douglas, drummer Brian Blade, bassist Scott Colley, and saxophonist/clarinetist Chris Potter. With Tower of Power's Lenny Picket in the production chair, Werner's take on the unreality of American life is manifested in techno-savvy computer grooves, acoustic swing, strong contrapuntal exchanges, and genre-bending idioms. "Lo's Garden," "Inaugural Balls," "New Amsterdam," and "Lawn Chairs (and Other Foreign Policy)" are syncopated soapboxes ringing with Kraftwerk/James Brown/Herbie Hancock Headhunter-type rhythms and angular melodies, contrasted by the mournful aura of "The 13th Day," written for his late daughter, and "Kothbiro," from the film The Constant Gardener. Werner's bop, beats, and bytes will live on long after the polls close. --Eugene Holley, Jr.

Originally recorded in 1989, Phish's second record is a brilliant blend of whimsy and wisdom that served notice to the world: these boys are tough to peg. "The Squirming Coil" is arena-rock bluster, "Reba" is winding art rock, "My Sweet One" is quick bluegrass, "Split Open and Melt" is a funky workout, "Oh Kee Pa Ceremony" is jazzed-up country boogie, "Lawn Boy" is lounge jazz, and "Bouncing Around the Room" is irresistible pop. Add to that "Run Like an Antelope," one of their most successful twisting-and-turning instrumental jams, and you have an eclectic yet digestible smorgasbord of styles. What saves Phish from crumbling under their own weight? A palpable sense of playfulness and sarcasm and musicianship that is both loose and demanding. --Marc Greilsamer
