Rating: - * Good USB headset ... I use this headset when making camtasia videos and can't complain. The recording is clear, no pops or hisses. If I need to do a narration to fix something the sound quality is the same as the precious recording which is real nice. People complain about the mike not being adjustable besides up and down- but this would be a problem with making consistant recordings. Its actually better for it not to be in my opinion. Rating: - * Love this. ... This product is my first attempt at having headphones on my computer. I'm now on Skype and needed something to be able to hear my clients. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Sound is great..and I have hearing issues, and they are comfortable to wear. Great product for the price. Rating: - * Mic broken after 60 days of use ... It was a decent head set, quality sound for the price, but unfortunately the design is junk. You can buy one for half the price and get th same results. The mic became distorted and made terrible crackling sounds when moving it to and away from my mouth, then stopped functioning altogether after 2 months.I'll take it apart and fiddle with the wires, but I didn't pay Logitech to fix their design flaws. Rating: - * works easily and perfectly ... This product worked perfectly after installation. The sound is good and clear and it is easy to change the volume. Rating: - * Quality headset ... I'm not often fully satisfied with a product, but this headset is pretty good. It sits comfortably on your head, the microphone sound quality is clear and crisp in online games, and the cord has plenty of slack. It's easy to install, you pretty much just plug it in and it works. I have noticed you have to have it plugged in before you start an application in order for it to work. Same with unplugging it before you start another application you want to listen to on your speakers. It's not a big deal once you're used to the fact. I have a big head and it sits comfortably for long periods of time. Your ears get a little warm, but not much, especially compared to other full ear-muff headphones. I will say the downside with the cable slack is that you end up sort of wadding the cable up in your lap, since the cable is heavy enough that you don't just want it dangling from your head. The in-line mute button has a clip on the back of it, presumably to solve this problem, but where are you supposed to clip that? I doubt most people sit at their home computer in a button down shirt most of the time. It's a small nuisance, but it's really the only drawback I've experienced with the device. The overall design would be better with a lighter, thinner cable with the in-line volume control removed. It's such a marginal feature there's no reason to include it at the cost of increasing cable weight. |
