Rating:  - * Does what it's suppopsed to do. ... Too bad the xm radio doesn't work in my house. I needed to buy a repeater. It works. Rating:  - * Easy set-up and works as expected, price reduced ... Truly plug-and-play design that was quick and easy. I didn't have to look at a guide to set this up; it was perfectly obvious. Now I can locate my XM radio in my home office "cave" and locate the XM antenna where the sun shines and there is a path to the signal coverage. I'll take this with me into the work office someday to have the benefit of XM where I sit - - well away from windows and satellite signals. I knew for a long time that I wanted this function, but couldn't justify the price until it dropped by two-thirds. Rating:  - * The only way that I can listen to XM in my home ... I am really glad that I found this item. I recently set up Xm radio in three rooms of my home. I could only pick up signal in one room, because it was the only room facing the proper direction. I purchased this and an additional antenna and now I can listen to the radio in all three rooms. My husband did have to play with where to set it so that we could pick up the best reception. Now and then, we do have trouble with static, but overall I am very pleased. Rating: - * Great Product ... This product works like a charm. Easy set-up. I installed this item at my work so that I could listen to XM at my cubicle, so I installed the antenna and repeater in the South Facing Window nearest to me (in the break room). My cubicle is approximately a straight 70' away through two walls. The reception turned out excellent. It is a blessing to have XM introduced into my work place. Rating: - * Delphi XM Signal Repeater ... I purchased the Delphi XM Signal Repeater so that I could receive the signal internally within my home at a location remote from a southern facing window. So far, I have not had any problems with the device transmitting the signal or interference with my wireless home network. It is easy to install, no switches or network setting to worry about. It does have a signal strength adjustment button but that is the only adjustable item. You basically connect the XM signal antennae to the wireless router and connect the repeater transmitter to your SKyfi 3 cradle and that's it. The SKyfi3 will let you know if you are getting a signal or not and even provide an indication of the signal strength. This is a great alternative for locating you XM device internally within your home. |
