Amazon.com Item Description:
One of the best aspects of subscribing to XM radio is the ability to choose from hundreds of different types of radio programming, many commercial free. Even better, the stations you're listening to won't fade from region to region throughout the continental United States. Delphi Xpress RC offers more features to enhance your listening and operational pleasures. The most obvious is a new color screen that makes tuning a more vibrant experience. It's the industry's first plug-and-play satellite radio with a full color split-screen display and 60-minute pause and replay. The radio also lets you save up to 10 of your favorite songs to listen to later. The display is easier to read--you can view content you want, the way you want. We don't live in a black and white world, so why should our XM experience be limited to black and white? The Delphi XpressRC XM Satellite Radio includes a universal connector which allows easy movement of radio between car, home, and audio systems with compatible accessories.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * The BEST XM receiver yet? ...
I tell you what, I used to want to get a new stereo with built in XM, but I don't think I'll ever find one that will do even 1/2 what this one will.

Pros.

1. The screen. Crisp, clear, clean, and MEANINGFUL! This screen shows everything for the channel you are listening to, AND it shows everything for the "last channel" you were listening to. You can set it to show what's playing on all of your "favorites". Absolutely perfect.

2. Major minor features. The unit has a "jump" feature to go back to the last channel you were listening to. Simple menus, simple settings.

3. Recording. I had one other unit before that let you pause the station you were listening to, and this unit does that but better (it keeps track of the last several songs, displays the artist/title of them), and you can easily go back and play what you want. This is cool and all, but this unit goes a step further. Hear something you like and want to hear it whenever you want? Fine. Hold down the main button and it gives you the option to record the song. You can have 10 songs recorded at once, and listen to them whenever you want. THis feature is hands down the best on the unit.

Cons.

1. Very minor, but the antenna and the power ports are on opposite sides of the unit. Makes wrapping and hiding the cables difficult.

2. The "fav" button is at the end of the 1/10 buttons. Makes you accidentally hit it occasionally while changing your stations. Also very minor.

3. The FM modulator sucks, BAD. I bit the bullet and hard wired my unit, with the unit only 1 foot from my radio, it could barely pick up the FM transmissions. Hardwiring is better of course, and I'm very glad I did it.

Overall, I can't recommend this unit enough. Amazing quality, amazing features.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * Excellent Sound with Convenient Pause ...
I bought the XpressRC because I wanted a reciever that had pause functionality. Now when I'm listening to something of particular interest and get interrupted, I simply click the Pause button. The XpressRC is a huge improvement in sound quality of my old Roady2. My only complaint is that if you happen to switch chanels, the buffer gets cleared. I've done that more times than I care to admit. A dual tuner such as what TiVo uses would have earned this receiver a fifth star. Another big improvement over the Roady2 is the ability to see what's playing on the other chanels (either the adjacent chanels or my favorites) without having to tune to those channels. The alerts seem like a nice feature, but I seldom use them. It's a nice receiver, but not worth paying retail price of $169.99. Shop around!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - * This is not a \"Plug & Play\" ...
I cannot rate the product because I cannot use the product! The ad forgot to say that this product CANNOT work properly without additonal stuff! I purchased this product as a replacement for an earlier model that I purchased 3 or 4 years ago for the same vehicle that I had 3 or 4 years ago. I plugged it in, called XM to switch receivers only to find out that unless I purchase the special adapters, this receiver will not work. It will not "plug & play" ...ugh..... So, I went to my local audio dealer to understand the differences between the two options. The Sureconnect adpter runs additonal wires and the dealer told me that I would be back because of the poor reception, or FM switch box that connects to the back of the radio. I am now talking about installation! The plug and play only works if you radio has the input line on the front panel. ...UGH...

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * Terrific!!! ...
This is everything I hoped it would be. Very easy to operate & great features. I especially like the artist alert, it will inform you whenever one of your favorite artists or songs are playing on another channel.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Just a great XM Satellite receiver. Big improvement over old models. ...
easy to install in a car (and even move to other cars). very simple to use. stock quotes a big plus. favorite artist feature should be available in all satellite receivers. display is easy to read and can be formatted in multiple ways. antenna smaller and better than my old one.
i would highly recommend for any road trips.

Packing a whopping 22 hours of content on five double-sided discs, Los Angeles Lakers: The Complete History is a treasure trove for fans of the purple and gold. In fact, even the ambitious title doesn't do the set justice, as the opening 2002 documentary traces the franchise to its Minnesota roots and a vintage 1953 feature shows the game's first dominant big man, George Mikan, in action. The glitzier West Coast years--Wilt, West, Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Kobe, et al.--are the primary focus, of course, and this set, one of the first two entries in the NBA Dynasty series (along with the slightly less-substantial Chicago Bulls: The 1990s), collects seven of the highlight videos that were released on VHS (2000 and 2002 were also on DVD), which provide a time-capsule look at each of the championship seasons.

The real joy of the set, however, is nine NBA playoff games presented as they were originally broadcast and almost in their entirety. They last about 90-100 minutes with TV introductions and post-game interviews, but minus halftime, commercials, and some slower moments. The games include such absolute classics as the game in which rookie Magic Johnson started at center in place of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and the 1987 "baby hook" game against the Boston Celtics. If you're used to watching current NBA games you might be tempted to just skip to the end, but it's surprisingly rewarding to watch the game develop, to watch the game's superstars strut their stuff (or see a couple of 1972 reserves named Phil Jackson and Pat Riley), and to observe how radically the sport has changed over the years. Variable picture quality and technical glitches are unavoidable (even the 2002 game looks washed out), but this is the first time complete or nearly complete NBA games have been available in the home-video era, and they probably still look better than the VHS tapes you've been saving over the years. Yes, it'd be easy to argue about which games from the Lakers' long history should have been included, and the highlight videos don't have a ton of replay value, but the NBA Dynasty series is a major milestone in archived sports. --David Horiuchi

Demons and wizards and bears, oh my! After finding their musical stride with 1971's Look at Yourself, Uriah Heep followed up a year later with this, their first foray into the lyrical realm of dungeons, dragons, and whatnot. David Byron's intermittent falsetto is in full effect by the time the chorus comes thundering in on heavy hits such as "Easy Living" and "Traveler in Time." But the 'ard 'n' 'eavy Brit rockers also had their sensitive side, as evidenced by the more reflective Ken Hensley-penned tracks like "Circle of Hands" and "All My Life." --Billy Grenier
