Rating: - * Does have 2 headphone jacks ... We have only had it for a month, took on a long car trip this summer so I can not speak to reliability. However, I did want to note that it does have 2 headphone jacks, one on each side. I had a hard time figuring out myself before I ordered it if it did (since the description only mentions one). Was loud enough for 2 kids to hear over the van noise. Rating: - * Not reliable! ... I've never written a reveiw before, but felt I had to about this product. I purchased this Coby DVD player in February. I had no problems with it at all, used it three or four times a week, only at home, always in one place, always gently. Last week I loaded a DVD and a few moments after it began playing, the sound cut off and did not come back. No sound at all -- though everything else is fine. Through Amazon I contacted COBY yesterday and was told there is nothing they can do about it; the product is under warranty for 90 DAYS only. Maybe this is standard on such products, I have no idea. I feel like I've been had and recommend that anyone considering purchasing this item seriously consider the negative reviews about its quality and unreliability on this and other websites. Rating: - * Excellent Portable DVD Player ... I have received this DVD Player 2 days back, Its picture is superb and the sound quality is also lot better than I thought. I played all my cd's,dvd's, mp3's. Its working great. Only problem I faced is I could not connect the cables of my playstation2 to this dvd player. My Playstation2 is UK model. I think this is causing me the problem. Any one have any ideas regarding this, Please let me know. I thought I could plug in my playstation2 to this DVD Player and play games also. Apart from that, I am enjoying my player. Rating: - * junk ... We got this dvd player in January and after 3-4 months of light use we began using it daily. It stopped working after 2 days!! It won't read disks and now makes a clicking noise when you put a disk in it. I called tech support and they said there was nothing they could do to help me and I would have to buy a new one. I am NEVER buying this brand again!!! Rating: - * garbage ... lasted 2-3months and screen went blank. right after warrenty expired. i smashed it into 1000 pieces after that and bought a polaroid from circut city with the 4year extended plan for an extra 40$. that has lasted 1 1/2 years so far and about 350 movies |

Marie opens the show with an outdoor rendition of "We Need a Little Christmas" and then moves into the studio where Kirk Cameron arrives on a snowmobile (fresh from rescuing a trio of blonde snow bunnies) to read "The First Christmas Story." Lee Greenwood performs "Christmas to Christmas" and later a duet with Marie. "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" is sung by Sally Struthers and daughter with help from the Osmond Boys--six stepping stones ages 4 to 12 who have the senior Osmonds' moves down pat. The adorable award, though, goes to Marie's 5-year-old son, Steven, who performs a rockin' version of "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" (clapping on the off-beat nearly the whole song).
Marie has a good, strong voice, but many of the songs are overproduced and melodramatic. This, most likely, is a product of the big, pouffy '80s (her hair and outfits are also bigger-than-life) rather than a reflection of her talents. The closing number, "O Holy Night," sung by Marie alone, is quite lovely. --Dana Van Nest
