Rating: - * Horrible Merchandise ... I bought this player and when it arrived, it was defective. wouldn't charge, wouldn't even detect in XP or Vista. Got an exchange and the replacement was ALSO a dud. Unless the buyer knew they were purchasing a pallet full of duds and trying to make a quick buck (it happens), Coby is a no-brainer.Don't buy this brand. I think they might spit out a good one per 1000 of product but that's an optimistic total. Rating: - * The worst mp3 player I bought ... I cannot believe it. The mp3 player cannot be recognized by any computer and LED doesn't show me if it works or not. Don't buy it if you don't want to regret for your decision. Rating: - * Great Deal ... Really, I took a risk by making this purchase. The three prior reviewed rated it horribly. But I decided to take my chances, and they paid off. The player is automatically recognized perfectly by the computer. You can add songs by physically dropping files into the file folder. I personally use MediaMonkey. The manual even gives you a link where you can find a driver if there are problems. I'm using vista, fyi. Overall, this is a great substitute for the ipod shuffle. Shorter battery life, but cheaper. PS: This player is much smaller than I pictured. It about the size of a small usb flash drive. Rating: - * EL MP3 NO FUNCIONA!!!! ... COMPRÉ 3 MP3 COBY MP550, NINGUNO SIRVIO!!! ME DEJÓ QUEDAR MAL PORQUE ERAN PARA REGALOS QUE HICE Y NINGUNO FUNCIONO. EL PROBLEMA CONSISTE EN QUE WINDOWS NO LO RECONOCE, Y POR LO TANTO NO SE PUEDE NI CARGAR Y POR SUPUESTO TAMPOCO SE PUEDE TRANSFERIR LOS ARCHIVOS DE MÚSICA. AMAZON DEBERÍA SACAR ESTE ARTÍCULO DE SU PÁGINA PORQUE, A PESAR DE QUE NO ES CULPA DE AMAZON, LOS COMPRADORES COMO YO QUE CONFÍAN EN AMAZON, COMIENZAN A TENER DESCONFIANZA DE LOS ARTÍCULOS QUE AQUÍ SE VENDEN. Rating: - * Coby is total Junk ... On the first one, I try to turn it on - hmm - nothing, manual says 8 hours to charge so I give it try - after 8 hour s, try it - nothing. Plug it into Vista-nothing, XP - nothing. Call "customer service" and ask to see if there is anything they can do or help with - "Nope, and it will cost $6 to complete a refund", plus he was really rude. Whoever thought you could have good customer service come out of New Jersey was really fooling themselves. The Amazon refund way = perfectly painless and FREE. So I RMA through Amazon and before I could even send the broken one out, the new one arrived in an unbelievable 2&1/2 days. So I turn it on - ahh lights come on - ok - listen to sample music - good & fine, plug it into Vista - "Unrecognized USB Media Error". Plug device into Windows XP - "Unrecognized USB Media Error". Refund time. So, lesson learned - don't expect a $17.99 MP3 player to work. I ended up buying a SANSA 2G at triple the price and couldn't be happier and it goes everywhere with me. So - bottom line -Avoid this product / brand / company all together. Negative Stars. |

Where the NBA Dynasty series (the other initial entry is the slightly meatier Los Angeles Lakers: The Complete History) outdoes Ultimate Jordan is in the six playoff games--one for each year--as they were originally broadcast, minus halftime and commercials. Having the nearly complete game (usually running 90-100 minutes, from the TV introductions to post-game interviews) means you can skip straight to John Paxson's clutch basket or what was expected to be the final shot of Jordan's career. Or you can savor each game in its entirety, all the better to appreciate the artistry of Jordan in his three-pointer barrage against Portland or his "flu game" against Utah. You can see other great players too, of course, including Jordan's teammates--Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, Dennis Rodman--and those opponents unfortunate enough to face the Bulls--Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley, John Stockton, Karl Malone, and others. Because these are all NBA Finals games, you won't see Jordan's shot over Craig Ehlo or his 63-point coming-out party against Boston, but the 1990s Chicago Bulls were a team for the ages, and merely having their games--some of them all-time classics--available for home viewing is a major milestone in archived sports. --David Horiuchi

While last-minute heroics tend to be the standard by which we define excellence, there are many other moments that have left an indelible impression, many of them highlighted here. The video clips fall into 10 categories: Dunks, Alley-oops, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Teamwork, the Clutch Shot, Moves, Hustle, and Buzzer-Beaters. At the beginning of each section is a brief introduction. Before showing the top 10 dunks of all time, for example, we learn about the evolution of the dunk--from the first slam to the man who could fly, Michael Jordan--and we hear background commentary from NBA legends such as Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Dr. J, and Bill Russell. This video recalls familiar moments of NBA lore that you will want to own for countless repeat viewings. --Jeremy Storey
