Rating: - * Great idea, lousy product ... I bought this particular purse for myself as a birthday present about 6 months ago. It's not worth the money!! The basic idea is great. Unfortunately, the zipper handles come off, it doesn't stay closed, and is generally more of a pain than a help. Until this product has gone through some massive revamping, I would not recommend it to anyone. Rating: - * Very good ... The Buxton Organizer works just fine for me. I use it every day and want to know just how long it will take me to think it too small for certain needs. otherwise, I am happy enough with it ! Rating: - * There is a problem with this bag ... I've owned this bag for years, and really like it. However, the magnetic closure on the outside flap came off. The fabric that holds the clasp is simply too thin to wear well. I would order another bag just like it, but I'm not wiling to deal with another problem. Rating: - * Don't waste your money on this cheap piece of junk ... I bought the tan bag and have used it for about 6 weeks. The leather (?) is so cheap that the surface color is flaking off, showing white underneath. Areas that aren't flaking are terribly soiled after light use. The lining is loose slippery fabric that gets in the way when you try to put anything in or take something out. And as for the many compartments, most of them are a joke - made of the same cheap loose fabric. Another reviewer noted that it dumps easily if full - absolutely true, especially since the snap for the main front flap is only loosely attached to that same cheap lining, and stuff can fall out of the side gaps. The cell phone case on the handle is the right size for my Samsung flip phone, but I had to take the phone out of its leather case to make it work. It would be way too small for most of the newer style phones. Buxton really blew it with this one. Rating: - * Its okay ... It is cheaply made, even though mine has not busted YET. I have only had it for a few days though. My main concern right now with the bag is the phone is in the strap and since the purse does not stay up right at all the phone goes upside down, I am afraid of phone falling out, especially that I have a Blackberry Pearl. The phone fits but barely, at least for now the Velcro seems strong enough to keep it closed. My intial concern about this bag (besides the million of negative reviews) was the odor of the bag...the "leather" smell was really overpowering the first couple of days and either I have gotten used to it or the smell has gone away a bit. The oils or whatever from the bag also seemed to irritate my skin at first....so if you have sensitive skin or smell it might be best NOT to get this bag. Other than the phone pouch issue and the bag not being able to sit up at all (even leaning it against something) the bag is alright. Its comfortable to wear and it fits what I have in it right now. It probably will hurt your shoulders and neck a lot if you stuff it like they say you can. |
