DEFINITELY a strong magnet. You can hang your heavy knives on this one. However, the metal on the magnet block scratches up pretty quickly. Makes it look used/worn pretty quickly. Still, definitely does the job well.

I bought this in a Gold Box deal for under 10 bucks. It is powerful and can hold all your big knives easily. It also looks clean and frees up your counter space. It also keeps my knives rust free as they air dry quickly on this magnet after I wash them.

It comes with 2 screws to help you attach it to the wall. I've hung it vertically in my kitchen based on the space I had and it still holds the knives easily.

Very strong knife magnet.Simple and clean looking.I acquired it during a Gold Box deal so the value ($9.99) was unbeatable.It will easily accommodate a full knife block as well as a steak knife set as long as your steak knives are not over sized.Would definitely buy another set for the cabin since we have so little counter space.

Other moments of the fortnight captured here include Goran Ivanesevic's farewell, the scoring controversy that might have cost Venus Williams a match, and--because this is a British production--Tim Henman's latest attempt to keep the Wimbledon crown at home. At only 52 minutes, however, there's not a whole lot of time to devote to actual game footage, and the camera has a dizzying habit of cutting to a close-up of a player in the middle of a point, making it hard to follow the action. The short running time makes Wimbledon: The 2004 Official Film feel somewhat like a relic from the VHS days, but it certainly looks good in anamorphic widescreen. --David Horiuchi
