Rating: - * Does the job ... Does what it promises. You probably could get an equally effective cable splitter at a dollar store, but for me it wasn't worth the hour of my life to save a few bucks (especially with free shipping). Rating: - * Good, Cheap ... This seems to work just fine. Also, significantly cheaper than what I saw at the Shack. Rating: - * Works ... Does what it's supposed to, and I can't notice any decrease in picture quality after the signal was split. Rating: - * Works as it should for UHF HDTV ... I use this splitter to divide the signal coming from the UHF-only antenna on my roof. I needed to split the signal five ways, so I used two 2-way splitters, and one 3-way splitter for that purpose, with the result going into the various digital receivers in my house, so 3 devices receive 1/4 strength signals and 2 devices get 1/8th strength signal. This splitter does it's job, splitting the signal precisely in half, although I can't say it does a better job than a $3 splitter you might have already; an old Radio Shack model I already had was uglier, but did just as well. |

Features include a nine-digit display, 65 digital voice prompts and/or audio alerts for radar, laser, and SWS detection. The Express 916 also remembers preferred settings, and includes instant-on/pulsed radar warning. Automatic and manual muting of audio alerts is provided for convenience, while a city/highway switch reduces the frequency of false warnings in densely populated urban areas.
Brackets are included for visor or windshield mounting, as are a spare fuse and a coiled six-foot power cord.
