This precision-engineered adapter cable connects the S-Video out of your computer to a TV, thus eliminating the need for several cables and/or adapters. This bi-directional cable converts S-Video to composite RCA or vice-versa without an expensive active converter. Rating: - * ver easy to configure and good quality as well ... I bought this 2 weeks ago and it was very easy to configure. Thanks to Amazon for having this wonderful product. I was wanting to buy a PC 2 TV connector and this perfectly suited me well.. Rating: - * Good Enough ... It's good, the video quality is acceptable and for the money you pay is great Rating: - * Works well. Video/audio hookup. Length. ... Works well. Easy to hook up. The cables to the computer are a little close together. My headphone jack is on the right side of my laptop and my video output is in the back. It's easy to pull these apart to accommodate the distance between the audio and video hook ups. I would maybe upgrade to the longer cable. 6 feet is nice but I usually play videos off my laptop and I also control them from it. So it's not very convenient to have the play/pause/etc controls not right next to me. Go for the 12 foot cable. Rating: - * S Cable Rocks ... I received the product promptly. It works great. Now I can watch movies through my computer. Rating: - * Works as advertised! ... Pros: Works as advertised for hooking up a laptop to a TV. Video and sound output is flawless, considering you're dealing with composite cables. Cons: For someone with no technical expertise, this could have been improved by automatically adding the TV as a second monitor in Windows. Right now, that must be done manually, which is fine for me. With many others, however, this may lead them to believe that the product doesn't work. Final Thoughts: If you're familiar with connecting multiple monitors, then you can't go wrong with this product. Even if you're not and you need this, I would get it, and you could learn something new in the process. :)
